(in the US) If you have been "barred" it means that you have been barred from the entire premises regardlss of whatever it is that you want to do there.
If you're not certain, call them and ask, or the minute you walk in you'll find out. Just because it is called a 'public' house doesn't mean that it is not also private property from which you can be barred.

The property owner generally has a right to ask anybody to leave the property and to stay off the property.
