Do you work in a Right to Work State? Because if you do, employers can fire you for whatever they want. I was just fired yesterday for the same thing. I have been taking the smallest amount of medicine I can to get through the day. In fact yesterday, when I was fired, I hadn't even been sleepy, the manager just saw me close my eyes while waiting for a customer to come to the phone. And, this is despite the fact that I exceeded all of my goals for March and February. Interesting that they just received my Intermittent FMLA paperwork. But one thing I am going to do is to go see my doctor on Friday. I had signed up for short term and long term disability benefits. If my employers say that my "medical condition" is keeping me from performing my job, then perhaps I should go out on short term disability at their expense. I believe I have a window of time to file the claim, but I don't know what it is. You should check into that. I work in Arizona which is a "Right to Work" state. I don't know why they call it that because basically it means employers can fire you for any reason they want. Good luck, and I think you definitely need to follow up with your doctor. Linda
