Yes, you can bring your safety razor with you in your carry-on. The shaving cream you will be able to bring as long as it is under 100ml and is placed into a clear plastic bag whose capacity is no bigger than 1 liter. Both can also be brought to the airport without any problems if you put them in your checked luggage of course.

You definitely CANNOT bring your razor with you in your carry-on. The shaving cream you will be able to bring as long as it is under 100ml and is placed into a clear plastic bag whose capacity is no bigger than 1 liter. However, both can be brought to the airport without any problems if you put them in your checked luggage, of course.

I seem to live on airplanes, and fly about 8 times per month. In the US, travel security is handled by the TSA, and you can visit their website at the link below. Liquids, gels, and aerosols are limited to a max of 3 oz. each, and they must all fit in a one quart sized clear ziplock bag in order to be "carry-on" luggage. You may have larger containers in checked baggage. Disposable razors ARE permitted in carry on baggage- razor BLADES are not. Straight razors DEFINITELY are not! Most pharmacies (chemists for our neighbors from Britain) now carry travel sized cosmetic items.
