YES For the most part, anone can replace any smple lighting on the vehicle. You would need the most basic of tools, which are a screw driver. I was able to do it with a simple Phillips head screw driver and 15 minutes of time.
What you need to find out is which bulb is giving you complications.
Most Toyota Trucks use the standard, #1156 and #1157 bulb. Depending on wether you have Standard O.E.M tailights, or Aftermarket lights, the number of each would vary.
First, start off by removing the cover lens, (tripled colored unit).
Then, recognize which bulb is faulty. You can use someone else in the driver side to test out the lights.
Find out which bulb is faulty, and gently temove it. I have had a few bust on me, aftermarket, because of their sensibility, and replace it with any other same matching number bulb.
Test it out.
Place the cover lense back on and you should be good to go.
The most this should take you is 10 mins, and if you are novice novice by heart, it shouldn't take you more than 20 mins.
