No. The spark plugs are responsible for igniting the fuel in the cylinders. If you start yanking them out, the engine is going to stop running.
This is covered in the book Things That Dummies Do.
yes
Change your cables they might be old and arcking...while your at it change your spark plugs
No, as long as they were working good before you changed plugs and did not break them while changing the plugs they will work fine.
because your valve cover seals are bad... fix it before you will get issues with coil packs... and change the spark plugs while at it...
it would damage the spark plugs and smoke a lot, but the engine in general should be ok, would have to change spark plugs after running tank empty or if having trouble starting.
yes jhust stick your hand in and pull it out
One spark plug could foul up and quit on you but I don't see all of them quiting at once.
it shouldnt, check or change all of the spark plugs, change the oil, and reset the idle
Remember the order of spark plug wires while connected. Disconnect spark plug wires. Make sure that there is no sand or dirt around before removing the plugs. Remove the spark plugs. It's a good idea to have a magnetic spark plug socket. Insert a new spark plug in the socket, be careful, do not drop the plug. Usually plugs come with preset gap and do not need adjustment. If you change gap most likely you will have to get a new spark plug. Install spark plugs. The torque should be around 45 N*m. Connect the wires in the order. Start the engine.
It is important to know the location of the spark plugs while owning a car. In a 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX there are spark plugs near the bottom of the engine block on each side of the car.
You don't you can change them while the car is still hot its no problem.
the bmw 320d is a diesel car therefore it does not have spark plugs as it uses pressure to ignite the fuel rather than a spark it does however have glow plugs which function to heat the engine internally when starting and will show up on the dashboard display as a spring like symbol if they need changing ie the light does not go out after the car starts rather it stays lit while driving then you need to change them
