Yes , the dealer has done it twice so far on my 1995 Ford Explorer XLT by using their machine and pumping in new fluid while the old fluid is " pumped " out . The machine has a sight glass and you can see the color of the fluid get a brighter / cleaner red as it is being replaced .
yes change the filter & the fuel can solve your problem
Inside the transmission. Most Honda transmission filters are non servicable. The transmission must be removed to change the filter. By the time the filter needs changing, the transmission needs rebuilding. Change the fluid and forget the filter.
Every 30,000 miles. There is no filter.
No, they are not. If you ask for an oil change they will change the engine oil & filter. They will not change the transmission fluid unless you ask for it.
No you do not have to remove the transmission. On some models you remove the transmission pan. On some years the filter is permanent and does not need changing.
Check fluid level Change fluid and filter Bring to a transmission shop
The filter is located behind the torque converter in the Lancer. Changing the filter is a long process and is recommended only if there is an issue with the transmission.
You'll likely have to remove the transmission pan. Perhaps it has a drain plug. Perhaps not. But either way if you change the fluid, you want to change the filter which is underneath the pan. Changing the fluid without changing the filter is not suggested.
you should. its def worth it. you dont absolutely have to, but you really should.
If the transmission would not go into gear before changing the transmission fluid, then the fluid change was for naught. Hopefully you changed the filter in there, too. If the tranny was busted before the oil change, then simply changing the oil is not going to fix the problem.
Changing your transmission filter will help in improving the slipping under load.
Yes, it has a filter but it never needs changing until the transmission is rebuilt. It is a lifetime filter.
