How do you choose which car battery charger to buy?

Purchase an automatic battery charger of at least 10 amps output. Voltage has nothing whatsoever to do with what you choose. It is going to be a 12 volt output charger if you use it on an automobile. You want an automatic charger that will shut itself off when the battery is fully charged so you do not have to monitor the charger yourself. You can also buy a charger that can be used as a booster to jump start a car with a dead battery if you choose. The Schumacher SC-1000A battery charger is an excellent charger that will charge auto batteries and deep cycle marine batteries. It will charge at 10, 6, or 2 amps. It is fully automatic and sells for around $45.

How do you recharge the battery on a suzuki gs 125?

With a low current 12 volt battery charger designed for motorcycle batteries. Alternatively a car charger in 15 minute spells allowing the battery to cool for 30 minutes between charging. Don't forget to pop the filler plugs out before charging. After the equivalent of 45 minutes to one hour of charge there should be sufficient juice in the battery to start the bike. Go for a ride for at least 15 min to finish charging the battery

How long does it take to charge an electric car?

This completely depends upon the specifications of the Battery used in the electric car and the voltage of the outlet that you are using to charge it. It generally takes around 3-8 hours to charge an electric car. Yet the new Telsa Model S will only take 45 minutes on a 240 volt outlet.

How do you charge the battery in s320 Mercedes?

The battery is in the trunk, on the passenger side under a removable plastic cover. To charge the batteries do as follows: -Open the trunk. -Remove the carpet. -Remove the cover (passenger side, behind the tire, but inside the compartment). -Hook up the charger to battery. Hook up red clamp to positive post on battery, the positive post has a + sign edged either on the post or on the battery by the post. (The battery posts have a + and a - sign on each post, or on the battery near the post). -Turn on the charger at about 200 amps, and charge it for no more than 45 minutes. This should charge the battery enough to start the car and get it going. If the car doesn't start, it's quite possible the battery is bad and needs to be replaced. -If the car starts, check and find out why the battery died. Possible reasons are: one or more lights left on accidentally, a short circuit in the system, or the charging system not functioning properly. -Hope this advise helps. mrfxcars

What are the benefits of electric corded versus battery-operated cordless power tools?

I love using battery operated drills but I never run out of power when I use corded drills-- I don't have to charge one and use one and I don't have to spend $70 for each battery, and I don't have to worry about spending $45 more for battery chargers when workers crush my charger. However: I must say Cordless Drills also Rock if you hate to be swinging cords over your shoulder all the time.

How long do you charge a 8.4 V 1200 mAH in a 250mA charger?

"here's an equation to use: Your battery's Mah x 1.5 then divide by charger output. so for you... 1400 x 1.5= 2100 Divide that by 300 (your charger's output) and you get 7 hours." Just do 6:45 hours because 1200mAH/250mA is 4.8 so 4.8 multiplied by either 1.4 or 1.5 (1.4 for Ni-CD). that gives you 6.71 and 71 is just about 3/4 of 100 so you get 6 hours and 45mins
