Yes! You can do many things on the iPad! Access anything on the internet from music to news and from videos to Facebook and Twitter! You can download eBooks or type emails! The iPad can do so many things!!
There is currently no way to have multiple apps open at the same time on an iPad.
The only exceptions to this are some Apple-created applications that can continue to run after they are closed (for example, the Mail app will finish sending your mail even if you leave the app immediately after hitting "send").
The 4.0 release of the iPad (and iPhone) software will introduce several different multi-tasking options for apps. 4.0 should be available for the iPad sometime in the fall.
NOTE: This answer assumes you have iOS 4.2. Earlier versions of iOS don't support multitasking. You can download the update by connecting your iPad to iTunes, and clicking "check for update" in the summary window for the iPad.
The iPad has limited multitasking. Basically, it can play back music and do a few other things while you are using other apps if the apps doing the multitasking have been specially designed to multitask. The main thing that multitasking does is save your progress when you quit an app, and bring you back to the exact spot you left. You can quickly switch between recently used apps by double clicking the home button.
If the iPad is running version iOS 4.2 or later then it will be able to multitask apps that have been designed to multitask.
At the moment there is no ability to print, but in November 2010 there will be an iPad update that will allow you to do that as well as create folders and multitask. There is also no camera so you can not face-time, skype, or video chat, but that will be included in the next generation of iPad.
Doesn't look like it http://news.cnet.com/8301-13924_3-10444141-64.htmlhttp://news.cnet.com/8301-13924_3-10444141-64.html
you cannot multitask on the itouch unless you jailbreak it.
As with all computers early mainframes did not multitask (early microcomputers did not multitask, early minicomputers did not multitask, early supercomputers did not multitask). Now almost all computers multitask. Multitasking has nothing to do with the size of a computer, it is almost entirely a software feature of the OS running on the computer.
Tell me about your organization skills and how you are able to multitask
because PC's can multitask on PC multitask is like switching file on ps3 multitask is like putting in a new game
Yup.
Yes.

Multitask
While some can multitask, others can only do one thing at a time. For some, multitasking can seem difficult or challenging. :)
