Just remove the bolt that you can get to. You then rotate the caliper on the other bolt until it will clear the disc. You then just slide the caliper off of the other bolt.

I did my jetta brakes many times, but I dont recall the bolt lengths. Ensure you have adequate engagement into nut. The dealer can supply you with the proper bolt for about 4 bucks.

on the caliper take out the bottom bolt, there are two bolts that the caliper slides on and only undo the bottom one. Then the caliper will swing up and allow access to the disc pads . You need to get a G-clamp and push the piston in the caliper back( or else it wont fit back down). put it back together and pump the brakes to set the brake piston b4 you drive or the first time you go to brake you wont have any.

Jack up the car. Take off your tire. Find the bolt on the back of the caliper and take it off. This should release the caliper, pull the caliper off the disc. Now you should be able to take the pad out. Replace the pad. You'll need a special tool to reset the caliper. As the brakes wear down, the caliper gets tighter so the brakes still work. I'm not sure exactly what its called, but you can borrow one from auto zone. Follow the instructions that come with it to reset the caliper. Slide the caliper back over the disc. If it doesn't go on, you need to reset the caliper more. Put the relese bolt back in. Put your tire back on. Drive slowly and test the brakes. Hope that helps at least a little bit.
