yes you can with some slight mod to the mounts and ze axels
what car? you'll need the proper ecu and wiring harness for the jdm 3sgte. thats all i can say for sure without more info.
If you have a 2.2(GT) Yes... If you have a 1.8(ST) Then no... The Toyota 'S' Series Engines... 3Sgte, and 5Sfe Have the same bolt patten -Brad
3sfe 5sfe 3sgte
speed-source.com, look for the mr2 mk1.5 mount kit
5SFE(no-turbo MkII) are dirt cheap. You can get a decent one with transmission and ECU for less than $2000. Gen2 3SGTE (MkII USDM turbo) are a little more than $2K. Gen3 3SGTE (MkII JDM turbo 95-99) be ready to pay through the nose for one of these. They are hard to come by and very expensive (Roughly $4K). The advantage is a better intake and exhaust set up. Stock Hp is about 245. If you are into modding your cars this engine is the one for you.
you just dont, you buy a 3sgte and then youl be set.
The Toyota 3SGTE engine, a turbocharged inline-four, typically produces between 190 to 240 horsepower, depending on the specific model and generation. The earlier versions, such as those in the Toyota Celica GT-Four and MR2 Turbo, generally offered around 190 hp, while later iterations, particularly the ST205 Celica GT-Four, can reach up to 240 hp. Performance can also be influenced by modifications and tuning.
Go with a 3rd gen 3sgte. Turbocharged 245 stock hp 2.0L With nothing more than a front mount intercooler and a boost controller you can easily make 300+whp
No, It will cost you $$$ to swap that it. The b16 is from Honda. You can go 4age 20v Blacktop, 4agze, 4age Slivertop, 4efte, 3sgte, 2zzge, or 1zzfe with supercharger. Those all depends where you live, emission wise.
Drop the cradle & engine together
Yes. Check out www.celicatech.com for lots of swap information.
Yes you can but the engine performance will drop and it may be noisy.
