A previous person answered, "yes," but I do not agree.
What kind of milk are you talking about? If you are talking about cow's milk, then NO. Dogs do not digest cows milk the same way that humans do. I recommend never giving a dog milk that is not meant for a dog. The puppy should nurse from the mother until at least 6 weeks. If something happens that makes this impossible, you can purchase puppy formula from a pet store.
Yes. But it is better to let the puppy feed off its mother at least for 4 weeks before separating it from its mother.
Yes you can give a 3 week old puppy milk. Because I have a 3 week old puppy and drinks it fine. So the answer is yes
yes
5 week old mice should not be eating milk. They should be eating adult ouse/rat food by the time they are 3 weeks old.
Very carefully. i think that you should feed the puppy milk but to make sure what you should really feed a motherless puppy take it to a vet doctor or call one and they can tell you the right thing to feed your puppy! so take care with what you feed the puppy before you take the puppy to a vet
a milk
They have to have kitten or puppy milk.
No absolutely not. Go to the pet store and buy milk replacer for puppies. It is just like human baby formula, made for their sensitive stomachs.
Not 100% positive on this...put some milk in a bowl and the bowl containing milk in front of the puppy and thenYOU TELL US!Most supermarkets will sell a specially formulated "puppy milk". This would be fine for you to give to your 3 week old puppy. Cow's milk in any form is not recommended as many dogs and cats are lactose intolerant and cow's milk will cause stomache upset and diarrhea.
A new puppy is as needy as a new baby. It is important you feed them properly to protect their health and encourage their health. You should feed a puppy only puppy food unless directed by your vet.
If the mother is not still nursing, than soak puppy food in warm water mash up with fork, the amount depends on if its a small or big puppy. If small 1/4 cup 4 to 5 times a day.If large puppy try 1/2 cup 4 to 5 times a day.
You can feed a 3 week old puppy, dry puppy food that has been soaked in warm water until it is very soft & mushy, then add some canned milk (1 part water to 1 part canned milk) to the mushy puppy food until it is a bit on the watery side. The pup should dive right in and make a big mess lapping it up. Make sure you are using a good name brand of puppy food, not some cheap generic puppy food. As the pup gets older, you can make the food less watery until you are feeding dry puppy food only. You only need to add the canned milk for about a week then stop with that. Don't ever use regular cow's milk as can cause diarrhea.
