Absolutely. Drug screens test for "benzodiazepines", not specific types or brands. Klonopin is a benzo and will trigger a positive result. It has a longer half-life in relation to Xanax so it will stay in your system longer than Xanies, and it will defiantly test positive. Drink a gallon of water, take a couple of B-12 vitamins and you may be able to skate by...if it's an issue specifically related to Xanax the only thing you can do is send the urine to a lab and they can definitively prove which drug is in your system.

I suppose so, if you take massive doses of them, but not if you're taking a normal dose. I was prescribed klonopin for alcohol withdrawal, while I was taking Suboxone.

From my own experience, Do Not Drink Alcohol while taking this drug.

Why did you test positive for benzodiazepines while taking septra ds?
im not sure i tested positive while taking septra an a few other antibiotics and prednisone. i have been clean for 13 months and now in limbo with a drug test sent to the lab. i know that i didn't take any benzoodiazepines but i guess i will have to wait to see what the lab has to say. i hope its a false positive cause i'm looking at prison time if it doesn't.

I am on Depakote, Clonazepam (Klonopin),Concerta & Prilosec and was concerned about eating grapefruit while on these medications (as I've heard that there can be a negative response while taking some medications and grapefruit together)...~ I just called my pharmacist and listed all these medications for her, and she said that they are ALL FINEto take while eating grapefruit. Yes. I have tested positive on every urine screen while taking 340mgs daily of Rhodiola. We are sending out this last urine to have a broader test done to see what it says.
