Yes, some women report that they have had a period even though 9 months later they gave birth. Generally though, the period is lighter than normal and usually doesn't occur more than once after conception although there have been rare instances where women report more than one period during pregnancy.

∙ 16y agoYes, you can. I actually had a period for several months even though I was pregnant. I kept thinking, man I am working out every day, why am I getting fat! Sure enough, I was 4 months pregnant!

∙ 10y agoYes, any time you have sex there is risk of pregnancy.
A woman can only get pregnant if she has sex either during ovulation or a week beforehand when fertile cervical mucus is present to keep sperm alive until ovulation. During a 28 day cycle this would likely mean days 7-16 of the cycle are when a woman is fertile (with ovulation occuring around day 14), although every woman is different and so unless using Fertility Awareness Method a woman cannot determine exactly when she is fertile or not.
If not using FAM then you need to use another form of birth control to prevent unwanted pregnancy, as well as Birth Control you can use emergency contraception (Plan B up to 72 hours after sex, IUD's up to 5 days after sex).
