Technically you can have bleeding. I found out I was pregnant went for an hcg level check got a count of 350 and started what I thought was my period or miscarriage over that weekend. My ob then had me go for a second count to make sure my numbers were lowering. They had indeed increased and I was still bleeding (like a normal period for me).
They continued to monitor me and my hcg increased to over 2000 over a 2 week period. Which is much slower then normal. I eventually had the methotrexate treatment.
So, yes, you can have what you believe to be a period and have a tubal pregnancy.
A tubal pregnancy is usually apparent by six weeks.
Yes, a tubal pregnancy will still produce HCG and will still be detected by a pregnancy test.
Yea you can have a miscarriage and still be have tubal pregnancy. You need er help or surgery
It's very unlikely that you are pregnant as you would be excreting HcG, the pregnancy hormone even if the pregnancy was tubal. There could be some other reason why your period is late, you need to see your Dr.
You're definitely not pregnancy because the blood test would of picked this up. Same with a miscarriage and tubal pregnancy.
could be a tubal pregnancy or other problem... may want to consider seeing a doctor.
It has been known to happen, but in general, pregnancy is extremely unlikely after a tubal ligation.
yes; it is so that you can still have a period.
As you are waiting for your period to come, and cramps and back pain are signs of pregnancy.
no chance of pregnancy. see your doctor for ultrasound scan.
yes, because you would still be pregnant and still have the hormone which is what the home pregnancy test is testing for.
can i still have a period with a ectopic pregnancy
Yes. You can still get pregnancy. Once in a while you see that the lady gets pregnancy after tubal ligation.
Yes, ectopic pregnancy is a rare effect of having a tubal ligation. If you've had a tubal ligation and begin experiencing single sided pain, spotting, bleeding or dizziness you need to be evaluated for tubal pregnancy immediately.
The more time that passes after a tubal ligation the (slightly) higher the risk of regeneration of the fallopian tube/s. It is extremely rare but it can happen. Because there is scar tissue from the tubal ligation, there is also an increase chance of a tubal pregnancy. If your period suddenly stops, whether you are having symptoms of pregnancy or not, take a pregnancy test or see your OB / GYN.
I would go to a doctor and get an ultrasound if you have tested positive for pregnancy if I were you... tubal pregnancies are emergencies and need to be dealt w/ as such... I almost lost my best friend to one many years ago- her tube had burst and it nearly killed her.
Even though tubal ligation is an extremely effective method of birth control with a less than 1% failure rate, there is still a chance of pregnancy with any birth control method. Missing 3 periods is definitely an indication for taking a pregnancy test. The chance of an ectopic pregnancy is much higher after a tubal ligation but carrying a normal pregnancy is still possible.
During my consultation pre-tubal ligation, my ob/gyn informed me that the possibility of pregnancy is still very real after tubal ligation. You should most definitely take an at-home pregnancy test AND most importantly visit your ob/gyn. You do not want a tubal pregnancy.
You should not be able to get pregnant after a tubal ligation.
Absolutely! If your tube was damaged during the tubal pregnancy you may experience some trouble conceiving, however carrying a pregnancy to term after an ectopic pregnancy should not be a problem. Not every tubal pregnancy will irreconcilably damage a fallopian tube. If one of your fallopian tube has been severed due to a tubal pregnancy then you still have another one to rely on. If you have had two irreconcilably damaged fallopian tubes then you are going to need surgical help in getting a viable egg to your womb.
Yes, you could be pregnant due to many tubal litigation are now ending up in a pregnancy. I would recommend seeing your doctor.
GO TO THE DOCTOR RIGHT AWAY! It is not your period. Vaginal bleeding can also be a symptom of ectopic (tubal) pregnancy. Another cause for bleeding during pregnancy is a miscarriage although the first two reasons for bleeding are more common, it is still a good idea to contact your doctor if you are too concerned.
my tubal incension is red after 5 years of having a tubal why
Signs of pregnancy after tubal ligation are a positive pregnancy test. If your test is negative, you're not pregnant.
A tubal ligation, commonly referred to as having the tubes tied, does not affect menstruation. Although the egg released by the ovary cannot travel to the uterus, the uterus still prepares for the possibility of pregnancy, which leads to the menstrual cycle when pregnancy does not occur.
