Do You Mean How To Sew Normal Jeans Into Skinny Jeans? If You Do.... 1) turn your jeans inside out.

2) sew from the knee down to however skinny you'd like them to be.

3) flip it back the right way, & wear them!

TIPS- put on your future skinny jeans before sewing and mark where you'd like to sew with chalk. then, after you flip them over, carefully trace back the markings with sewing pins. you may want to keep a seam ripper by you in case you sew it too skinny or too wide. Hope It Helps! x

It really depends on the type of material. Pleats are usually pressed into the fabric from the waistband down, so you should have no problem hemming it if this is the case. Simply steam the hem along the fold line, hem, and then press the pleats back in.

The biggest problem with hemming pleats is that you need to use a seam tape to hem with. A simple turn up hem won't do in this area. There's too much bulk in the fabric to do it this way, so using a seam tape will give the look you need without the bulk. Since the seam tape is cut on the bias, it won't "bulk" the hemming line like a simple turned hem. Machine sew the tape to the hem, then hand sew the other edge of the tape to your hemming "line". It will lie smooth when pressed into the pleats.

How can you tell if your garment has a good hem?

A good hem on a dress or a skirt should be almost undetectable. Stitches should be spaced just far apart enough to support the hem, not too close together to pucker the fabric and not too far apart so as to gap. The deeper a hem, the better it hangs (2" to 3", depending on the style and the fabric). The more shallow a hem, the more likely it will roll; just look at how the hem rolls on a new pair of jeans after you wash them the first time. Also, if the weave of the fabric tends to fray, the raw edge of the hem needs to be prepared (either attach hem binding or apply stitching to prevent fraying).
