To enter the US Air Force regardless of component (Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard) you will need either a high school dimploma or GED.
My question is that do you need a GED to join the navy and if not will the navy help you in basic training?
most of the time lilly you have to have a diploma to join the us navy a ged will get you to the marines or army but not navy or air force or coast guard

dependas on the case and how far apart they are.. i had to misdameanors both Mary Jane charges in o3 and o4 and have a GED and i joined at the end of 09. i got lucky but now im sure GED they wont take

You can. Each service has a different percentage they are allowed to recruit with GEDs and they give GED applicants a hard time, but you can join with a GED.
