mine almost suffocated so yes
When your Hamster is putting food in his mouth, and not swallowing it, it means he/she is putting food in his cheeks. it doesn't hurt them, they just store them into their cheeks for later. Every hamster does that, don't worry too much! ~Hope this helps!~
Well you want it to be comfortable but not suffocate in its bed. I would say enough that would be good and comfortable for the hamster. Hope it helps
It would probably be best to not use tissues for the bedding. You should put some tissue for your hamster to use to make a nest, but not really as a bedding. It is not absorbent enough if there is too few and the hamster may have trouble walking around in the cage if there is too much.
The food is 2$ and the bedding is 5$ and the cage is 10 - 50 $ look on google shopping
it is about 308$ a year bedding food toys
You have to get the hamster used to it's home and surroundings. Try not to handle it much until it gets used to it's new home. After a day or so, start to get the hamster used to you. Remember to feed, water, and change their bedding.
Most hamster supplies will cost about sixty to seventy dollars.
It depends; dropping a hamster from 2" off the ground probably won't do much damage, but dropping a hamster 20' off the ground could probably cause a fatal injury. Do not drop a hamster to find out!
just tear up afew sheets of kitchen paper, put it in the cage and your hamster will make a nest out of it within a matter of mins! i use kitchen paper for my hamster and she seems to like it just as much as expensive pet-bedding...if not more :)
There are a couple of ways. First take the top off then either pick it up and put it in or try with a treat by showing the hamster the treat to the hamster then putting the treat in the hamster ball. After awhile our hamster loved her ball so much all we had to do was open and put the ball near her and she would climb in on her on.
From 1-3 inches, it depends if your pet likes to borrow :-)
Your mama hammy might not be eating them she might be stuffing her cheeks and putting them by her babies but it's ok for your hammy to eat bedding it's fine but if she is getting to much then that may be a bit of a problem then she might not like the diet she has or has trouble digesting her food, I hope this helps good luck
