You need to plug in the USB connector that came with your nook to a USB port in your computer. Make sure your nook is plugged in to the other end of the cable, then it will pop up on your desktop (probably named 'nook'). You can then go on B&N.com and download books onto your device. All you have to do is purchase the book, then drag and drop onto the nook icon located on your desktop.
The way I successfully do this is to connect the Nook to my computer. Go to your B&N Library, find the book you want to download. Click on "download" which you will see clearly to the right of your book. Once the download is complete, a box will come up on your computer screen, click on "save to open file", another box of downloaded materials will show up. Your book will be highlighted when the box shows up, click on it and "move to file" - a list of show up but if you're connected correctly "Nook folder" or something similar will show up. Click on that and you should be finished. The book is on your Nook. It's always safe to "archive" the book your just downloaded on your B&N account page.
If A equals all books in your library and B equals all books then A < B, unless your library is the only library and books are only kept in a library, then A = B.
The Nook is manufactured by Barnes and Noble.
no you can not b
romulatin.com but you can only download 2 game a day unless you have an account
The color uses a micro USB cable but the power source at the plug-in side is much larger and more powerful (1.9A for the nook color vs. 850mA for nook vs. 500-650mA for standard USB power). I tried to plug my regular nook charger into my nook color but without the larger plug in power box that comes with the nook color, it will not charge. In B&N customer help books for nook color they say specifically not to use a power source other than one that is made specifically for nook color. I didn't push the issue once I saw my nook color wouldn't show a charging icon when plugged into my regular nook AC source cord.
Calibre can convert epub to mobi, but it cannot remove DRM on books you purchased from B&N. Some epub books don't have DRM (like the classics you find on project gutenberg) and those can be converted by calibre. There is software that removes DRM but It's a violation of your licensing agreement on those books you purchased that have DRM. If you don't care, then just google removing DRM from nook or kindle books and it will point you in the right direction. Once DRM has been removed, Calibre can do the conversion
B. And only B.!
I got mine at B&N - Barnes and Noble and they are selling the new eBook Reader The Nook now..
The Nook is normally updated over a WiFi network and does not need to be connected to a computer. If the update does not happen automatically you may need to tap 'Check for new B&N content' in the My Library area in order to initiate the update. If the update has to be done manually you need to download the update from the Barnes and Noble support web site. Connect the Nook to the Mac with a USB cable. The Nook will appear on the Mac's Desktop (or in a Finder Window under Devices) as a disc. Drag the update file into the top level of the Nook (not into any folders). The update will be automatically recognised and applied. The Nook will restart once it has finished installing the update.
