Well I recommend not to do it because you could end up jabbing yourself since its in an awkward place ..but if you insist no I don't think that would be big enough ..to small to fit the jewelry in after ..and safety pins would only hurt like hell and leave a big hole ...piercing needles are much better..waiter go to a professional or look on amazon and get a piercing kit for only 15 or so :) goodluck
It won't parilize your lip but if you hit a vein it can cause a lot of bleeding nd then the lip will have to be re done..also if u do it at home do it with a 16g hollow needle and use a 18gauge stud or ring....I have tryed mine at home before with a sewing needle then tried to put the jewelery in after I was done....the hole was not big enough and I could not get it in!
No, it's a type of sewing, done with needle and thread. Women did it at home for centuries, along with knitting, crochetting, needlepoint, etc.
The telephone, to call an book an appointment with the body piercer. Don't go doing stupid things with your tongue, see a professional body piercer and get the proper assistance you need.
Re-piercing the same hole, especially with a big-bore needle, means there's a chance of running into some scar tissue. I'd have a pro do this instead of making a mess of it at home.
Pierce was from New Hampshire.
DON'T PIERCE THE MUSCLE. Use the skin in front of the muscle. My webbing just got pierced nd I pierced it wrong nd I pierced it trhough the muscle it is not the width of 5 quarters stacked up together... The PREFERRED tools to use: 16 gauge hollow needle gloves (if comfortable, some find it to get in the way of piercing his/her tongue web) A 16 gauge circular barbell/captive bead/curved barbell (doesn't matter) Okay, I find that my tongue web has this little part in the middle that is thicker than the rest of my web, kind of like 2 mini balls on the side of my web. DO NOT PIERCE THIS. Pierce above it. Make sure to take care of the piercing, it can become infected easily, it may also reject. Swelling is normal for 7-10 days. Hope this helped. (:

To reinforce pockets, you can just use a regular home sewing machine. If it's for a heavy fabric such as denim, you may want to use the heaviest needle available, or an industrial sewing machine.
