Yes you can, but makes sure you get the oil lines as well as the new head, I recommend getting a b16 vtec head off a 2000 civic si
no you cant the bolt patern on the vtec heads are different then the non vtec heads
Yes you can. You can either use your LS block and put a Vtec head on it or you can just swap it out with a GSR or Type-R motor.
yes but you will need to run an oil line to the head, youll need a vtec capable ecu with a tune, and it is suggested to get arp head studs and pistons from the same head to be safe and do it right.
Yes but some tweaks would be necessary you would have to hav the oil galley on the vtec head welded shut a new oil line for said surplus oil to safely return into head.new gsr/type-r water pump (vtec runs hotter so you need a water pump that can supply the new demand of coolant)an ecu geared for a gsr and viola.while you have the motor open might as well add aftermarket pistons cams valve springs retainers ect.save time and money overall.pricey but yes very worth the 240 plus hp
you have many different options when it comes to this, you can go d15b7/d16 vtec head (this is a Frankenstein swap where you put a vtec head on a non vtec block), or d16 vtec, or single or dual cam Zc its personal preference, but do not go for the non vtec motors such as d15s and certain d16s research use wikipedia it works the best to find this information
Your car is VTEC already.
yeah you can put any b series vtec head on it like a si, gsr, or type r head. just takes some work.
nop
Yes!
Yes it will fit.
As long as the oil had the right rating it'll be OK.
