Small, hardy, non aggressive fish are best. These include small tetras, rasboras, barbs and rainbows.
Aquasaurs, also known as triops are best in their own small tank with no other tank mates. Chances are, that even a non aggressive fish will see them as a tasty snack.
Try indroducing small feeder fish... if your turtle goes after and catches the fish, he/she will be fine in a pond/lake environment.
you cannot. an angelfish is sometimes very aggressive and territorial. Maybe your tank is too small.
other cichlids or other aggressive fish
Bala sharks are non-aggressive. I have had several of them, and they have never tried to attack or harm the other fish in the tank.
