Yes. I have a 2011 Elantra that goes 500 miles per day. I switched the oil and transmission to amsoil at 115,000. (I wish I had done it sooner). After the change I noticed a 4 mpg increase on the highway (65mph) and noticeable power increase. It is currently at 165,000 miles give or take and running as if new. It does not burn or leak a drop of oil.
The first change was at 140,000 (25,000 miles since original flush). I did not do an analysis at this time.
I am awaiting an oil analysis to decide weather or not to change it again. I think I will be able to go another 25,000 miles (10 weeks) on the same oil making it 50,000 miles on the same oil.
Out of pocket cost (after initial flush) is $12 every 15,000 miles for a filter and $38 for the oil analysis at 25,000 miles. I recommend sooner than that if you suspect anything wrong with deposits, iron, overheating, etc. The analysis tests for many different metals including oxidation levels and water deposits. It is a great tool to diagnose problems other than oil.
The only thing I dislike about the Elantra is the air intake design. I have to clean the air filter every week (2500 miles) or it clogs with bugs and junk. Amsoil does not make a filter for this car :( but K&N does and it works great. It was installed at about 30,000 miles and is still in great shape.
I plan to install an amsoil bypass system which would possibly allow me to never need an oil change. I will not be surprised if I get 500,000 miles on this car due greatly to the high quality of amsoil.

Take the old one out and put a new one in.
To disable a 2002 Hyundai Elantra alarm system, put the key in the ignition. Turn the key halfway ensuring the car does not start. Leave the key in this position for 10 minutes before starting the car.
One possibility is that the air conditioning is on. My 2001 Elantra automatically starts the air when the fan setting is put to defrost. I have to remember to turn it off.
Same ammount that came out. Pour it into a large marked container (quarts) and put the same amount back in.
