there is two main things that will cause an elantra to have no spark the ignition coil pack or the crankshaft sensor
Trouble code P2300 means: Ignition Coil "A" Primary Control Circuit Low
the number 2 ignition coil in a 2006 hyundai sonata is the middle in the front three ignition coils

to replace the ignition coil on a 2001 elantra 2.0.....take the plastic cover out(5 bolts...10mm) once you see the coil pack to your right........................................ disconnect the plug wires....make sure to keep it in order....... there are 2 bolts attached to each side of the pack take them off......then disconnect carefully the 3 cables attached to the pack ...put the new pack....bolt it in...plug the the 3 wires ....then connect the ignition wires and you are done.....put the plastic cover back....................remember to disconnect battery before you start working on this.
