Yes you can put bigger tires on your existing wheels up to a point. Talk to your local tire dealer and they can advise you on the biggest tires you can use.

Yes, BUT it depends on wheel/tire size. Most wheels that big will hit the corners of the bumper/fender, leading to custom bodywork/cutting. Personally I wouldn't go 24 inch wheels, because it's too hard on the stock suspension. Smaller rims with bigger tires are more comfortable and softer ride.
