First, consider the dimensions of the wheelwell, plus the 'offset' and diameter of the rims which are to be installed. This determines which size tires are feasible to mount to the rims. 'Plus-sizing' can be tricky,so do some research before busting your butt finding out what works. Sorry I couldn't be a little more specific,it just kinda depends on what can fit. Lift kits increase the size 'big time',but you mentioned that the vehicle is stock. Inquire at tire service or speed shops as well. Good Luck!
You can use up to a 30x9.5 tire if your suspension is not sagged. If it's sagged I'd go no bigger than a 225x75x15. You can always fit bigger tires on a stock rim, but then you might encounter problems such as the tire rubbing in the fenderwells or on the lower control arms at full lock. This is only for onstreet applications! If the vehicle is being used in offroadapplications, then you might have to trim the fenders to accommodate bigger tires to prevent rubbing or binding when the axle flexes. For the answer to this and hundreds of other Jeep related questions, you might want to join an online Forum like JeepsUnlimited Forums or JeepForum (Google it!). They have huge data bases and hundreds of people there who drive the same vehicle, encountered the same issues and are qualified to help. Also, you don't need to join, you can use their search feature for the answers to many questions; but in order to ask a question you must be a member (join for Free!). Good Luck.
30X9.5 on your 15inch rim. This is what I run and has been published in numerous off road Jeep articles. Personally, I think just a little smaller might even be better but I run this setup on a stock body/suspension
225/75-15 is the biggest optional tire that Jeep recommends. Of course you could fit a bigger tire, but with adverse effects. Answer I have 245/75 on mine. they work fine.
you can put a set 31x1050x15 on and it want hurt you gas milage that bad and it would look real good on it and will have a bold look to it.very nice
Max tire size for stock Cherokee is 30x9.50r15 these may still rub at full turn or articulation You can also go up to 235/75R15 without chance of rubbing.
It all depends on what you do with your jeep. if you use a lift kit ou can fit up to 37's on it and if its stock you can get up to 32's with some fender trimming
What size tire for 2004 Grand Cherokee
235/75 R15 is as large as I would go.
I would guess 305's. I recently installed torsion keys on my 03 4WD to level out the vehicle. After I had those installed, I mounted a new set of 285's (supposedly 32's) on mine with a little clearance remaining. I was told if I had chosen the 305's (supposedly 33's), I would've had to do some minor cutting so I could turn the wheel fully. The new 285's were a replacement for 265's that were optional equipment when new. The 245 size should be stock on any new 1500 series. 265/75R16 is the biggest size most tire dealers/installers will put on without having you sign a waiver. Since that is the largest optional size recommended by GMC Charles in Indy I put a set of 31 12.50s on mine no problem.
yes, you can put even bigger tires on if you would like. there is a lot of clearence in the wheel wells.
yup
AnswerThere are many factors that come into play here. I recommend that you visit. www. NAGCA.com 235-75 R15 were approved by my Jeep dealer. The stock tires are 185-75 R15 and Sam's Club would only go up 1 size. So I had to get the okay from my dealer , which I did and Sam's gave me the 235-75 R15 tires. I have them on my (2) 98 jeeps for about 10 years now.Rich
yes you can but you will need some fab skills and basic mechanical know how

Go to tirerack.com and put in your info.Go to tirerack.com and put in your info.
Yes, if you have the correct width and back spacing. You will need a tire with a lower profile (sidewall height tire) to maintain tire diameter/height, or your speedometer will be inaccurate.
The size listed in your owner's manual and on the drivers door post.
In some cases yes. depending on the size of caliper and rotor that the car has.
Look on the drives side door on the white info tag, it will give you the size of the tire(s) the factory would put on that car or truck.
Depending on the tire, some people have successfully installed a 140. Otherwise, the stock tire is a 130
Question is too vague What year and what is the OE size? Do you want wider or taller?
I got a 2003 Chevy silverado 4x4 z71 stock suspension , and i install on it 285/75r16 tires, that's the biggest tire that you can use, i put that tire size to in a 2002 Chevy silverado work truck 4x2, with no problems. You can trust, good luck.
with a lift i have seen 44s but with out a lift... no idea just run with the stock size as you will get better fuel economy
