Only if they are both in breeding condition. If they are not he will kill her. If they do breed (Spawn) she must be removed immediately afterwards otherwise he will kill her.
The male will try to spawn with her. If she is not in breeding condition she needs to hide to stay alive.
Male betta's are more colorful then female's
It's best to only put male and female betta fish in the same tank/bowl if you are breeding them. If they are not breeding and they still stay in the same area, the male would most likely attack the female, so keep the female away! Also, if you are breeding betta fish, make sure to remove the female betta after she lays her eggs, as the male will care for them and chase the female away.
you can put a male and female betta together but you must watch them closely, if they fight remove one of them right away! remember to remove them after they have mated
Well Betta breeding is tricky, some betta keepers are "ok" but others are NOT, your betta keeper must have a seperater to separate the male from the female. You must do this so the male can get use to the look of the female.. After 1-2 days put the female in with the male.. And watch them, if they fight then you will have to separate them again.
You put them together when the female is full of eggs, and when the male builds a bubble nest.
Nothing will happen but if you put a female betta fish and a male betta fish their going to figth so make sure to have that thing that separates them male betta fish can figth and if a male betta fish has babies separte them and keep them away from their parents and when they grow up check if their a male or a female if their female put them on the same tank put there might be a lot of females if i was u i will just sale them cuz i think you only have one tank but thats my opinion and if somebody needs a question just tell me my name is Allison Hamilton
If the female is chubby around the tummy area you could add her but be prepared to remove her if the male gets too boisterous. If he starts building a nest then you know you are in with a chance.
Female beta is a murderer.

From a female Betta. Then the male Betta fertilizes them when they breed together.
