Strictly for e-mail purposes. Any computer running Windows Server 2000 or above with Active Directory installed. You can then create in "Active Directory Users & Computers" a group of users and designate them as a "distribution" group.. Security & Distribution are the 2 choices. Security groups are for assigning permissions etc, while distribution groups are purely for e-mail purposes. However, security groups can be emailed collectively. This is all up to the person creating/administering these groups. This is only an opinion and is not the only choice for an "e-mail only computer".

Yes, email is an integral part of business and computer communication.
By far the biggest disadvantage is that it localizes your email and contacts on a particular What_are_the_disadvantages_of_Outlook_Expresshard drive. It downloads all emails from your specified email account onto one computer, which means that you can't access that email address from another computer without messing up your Outlook Express inbox. In other words, if you open/read an email message on a different computer, that message will not appear in your Outlook Express inbox. Outlook Express is an outdated way to do email, especially in the smartphone age. I don't recommend it.

Oh sheesh, about a million ways. These are the most common: Through email, through bugged websites (i would recommend a Norton site check if this) and some people can hack into your computer from miles away.
Under certain rules and guidelines bulk email marketing can be done, but I would not recommend it as savvy computer users generally delete these items without reading or let junk filters remove them.
