Well this question is simple to answer. My wife had an affair after our twins were only a year old. She wasn't happy in our marriage and it happened. I truly loved this woman but the only way it could have worked was if she wanted it to. It takes both sides. It was a very difficult time for me. It still is. We are divorced now and not because I wanted it. It is possible but takes an extreme amount of effort from both sides. I wish I got that effort from her but I didn't.

∙ 13y agoIt depends on how much you love him and know that he'll never do it again. It will take time to rebuild your marriage but if you both put the hard work into it, then the affair can just be left in the past.
