Yes, as long as the food was kept at a proper temperature after cooking, and didn't sit around on the countertop for more than 2 hours or wasn't left in the fridge for a number of days.

But the quality will not be good when eaten after refreezing.

Yes, you can do this with this food. This food will keep for up to 2 days in the refrigerator. Place the food in an air tight container. It then can be transferred to the freezer for further storage time.
