Refreezing shrimp even once isn't a good idea. The texture will be severely affected.
yes
Yes, you can, but not too many times.
Only once, once it is thawed you can not refreeze it.
No! Fish is a meat that is very perishable, meaning it goes bad quickly. When I buy shrimp I usually plan to eat it that night, and I keep it on ice in the refrigerator. Where we live we don't get fresh shrimp, so it has already been frozen once, and I use it immediately. Shrimp also becomes rubbery.
Yes, but it's not a good idea. When you reheat them, they can become quite mushy.
All meat can be defrosted and then refrozen. It is safe to eat, but will not be as tasty and juicy if meat had not been frozen. This is not a safety issue but a culinary one.
8. Exactly 8. No more though, that would be silly. Although sausages you can do 9 times.
can i refreeze mushrooms/
There are two syllables. Re-freeze.
I have tried this PLENTY of times. I have frozen it, and ate it, probably..... 20 times! But the thing is, my brother got sick... ):
8 points.
Yes, as long as the food was kept at a proper temperature after cooking, and didn't sit around on the countertop for more than 2 hours or wasn't left in the fridge for a number of days. But the quality will not be good when eaten after refreezing.
