I have a 2002 Nissan altima with tires 205/65R16 can I replace them with 215/65R15, the tires came on 5 bolt rims and will fit on the altima.
If the tires are on 15 inch rims, you are ok. You can not put 15 inch tires on 16 inch rims, or 16 inch tires on 15 inch rims.
Yes you can
A 285 60R 17 will replace that
you'd have to get the tire size. It's on the tire itself.
yes
Usually it can, but we need to see the WHOLE tire number to say for sure.
No, you can replace one tire as long as it is the exact same size as the rest of them.
Yes, but you must keep the overall diameter of the tires you are installing the same as the recommended tire size on the car. Any decent tire shop can tell you what size will work.
Not on the underside. A full size spare would be too close to the ground to be practical.
That would require different rims. That would require different rims.
Probably, especially if the other dimensions are the same as the bigger tire. Be advised that you will not receive as good gas mileage.
Have not seen a 15" tire in size 275/65-15. But if you can find one it will work pretty well.
Only if you also replace the rims and you don't have clearance problems around the brakes.
