where is the trunk release button for 1993 chevy corsica
The 1996 Chevy Corsica trunk release button is located in the glove compartment. The trunk release button will be on the left-hand side of the glove compartment.
in the glovebox.
in the trunk
In the compartment between the driver and passenger seats is a switch
did you look inside the centre console? i drive an '88 and it wasn't until about a month after i got it that i found the trunk release button while i was trying to fish out some change from the very bottom of the storage bin.
* Remove the trunk lid latch * Detach the lock release box from the latch assembly * To detach the lock cylinder from the trunk lid pry off the retainer
There is no trunk release on a 1991 Chevy Caprice.
Before you drop the fuel tank, try emptying the trunk and look beneath the cloth lining for an access panel which allows you to service the fuel pump.
how do i replace a trunk lock with another lock that has a key
Open the trunk, look for some plastic nuts, remove these and remove your rear lens assembly; remove sockets from assembly.
The trunk???? Pickups do not have trunks.
open trunk, pull back inside lining to trunk, there should be 3 or 4 plastic nuts to take off. then pull out light assembly.
When I saw this question, being so specific with make and model year, I thought it was strange. I also have a 1995 Chevrolet Corsica. 3 days ago my wife went to open the trunk with the key and the key simply would not turn. I tried using WD40 but could not get it to turn. I finally had to lift up on the outside of the rear seat inside the vehicle and climb through the opening behind the rear seat. I had to bend forward the corner of the seat enough to get through. Once I did this I just had to turn the latch counterclockwise with a screwdriver to get it to open. I did not realize this at first, so I simply removed the two 7/32" hex head screws that hold on the latching mechanism. This got the trunk open. I haven't had time yet to figure out how to replace the actual trunk lock. I'd like to add to this question that we had a broken lock on a 1995 Chevy Corsica as well. The outside lock was removed (not sure if it was intentional or accidental). In order to get in the trunk we can use an opened (unfolded) nail clipper and insert the single flat edge into the small hole that's in the center of the lock. (Peer in to get a good view.) You turn the nail clipper (I believe clockwise) and the trunk pops open easily. (I suppose you could use a small flat head or small pocket knife as well - but we've always had fast, quick access with a nail clipper.) The downside is that anyone who knows how to open a trunk this way can access your trunk.
The trunk release for a 1997 Chevy Lumina is located on the driver side floor. An emergency release is also located inside the trunk.
To replace a turn signal switch in a 1993 Chevy Lumina go to the trunk of the vehicle and find the plastic covering for the turn signal. Remove the cover and replace the bulb.
in the trunk
it is in the trunk you just turn and pull the light out of the socket and the light bulb is a 194 i do believe
The fuel filter is under the trunk of the car in front of the gas tank. Just take the fuel lines off the old one and put them on the new one.
Try using the trunk key first...
open trunk...reach inside by the light assembly...loosen the wing nut type bolts....then loosen the 2 nuts by where the trunk meets the body on the trunk side...pull the entire assembly out....replace bulb.
go into the trunk and disconnect the wires and then pull the speakers out from the trunk and replace.
If it is just the bulb that is burnt out just pop the trunk, on the inside of the trunk lid there are the lighting harness. Just turn it about a 1/2 turn to the left, pull it out, and replace bulb
Pop the trunk, pull back the trunk liner, remove the 5 plastic screws/wingnuts, and separate light assembly from the car, remove the bulbs and replace.
