Won't help. Any spray oils will quickly wash off and any spray paints like "Rustoleum" won't stick. For engines, clean good and use engine paint from an auto parts store. Battery, clean and get a good battery tray from same. I find that Battery terminal protector spray and the use of felt pads helps tremendously in retarding corrosion on battery terminals and connectors, and the use of dielectric grease on and in wiring connectors does the same. As for the engine just leave it alone or use High Temp engine paint if you must but some parts like intake and exhaust manifolds are going to get a little rusty looking whether you want them to or not, they are made of cast iron and wont be affected by the rust except for a thin coating on the outside.
You can use rust prevention and protection products and sprays at Noxudolusa.com. All these products are engineered to stop and prevent rusting
