If he released sperm during your period, then you can still get pregnant. If it is just after, then the chances are higher. If sperm went in right before your period, then the chances are very slim because the sperm has to fight against the flow of blood. If you are trying to avoid pregnancy, then take EC (emergency contraception), you can get it from your doctor.

It's tricky to answer this because although it is biologically impossible to get pregnant during menstruation, you can get pregnant as a result of sex during menstruation. Let me explain...

The only time you can get pregnant is during ovulation - i.e. when there is an egg present for sperm to fertilise - you cannot ovulate during menstruation. However around a week before ovulation the mucus within the cervical opening changes so that it flows down into the vaginal canal to serve as a medium through which sperm can swim up through the cervical opening, it also protects sperm from the acidic pH of the vagina. While there is fertile cervical mucus the sperm may survive for up to a week, by which time a woman may ovulate.

If your partner did not touch your body with his erect penis in any way, you can not get pregnant. But if he was inside you and pulled out to come, then yes, you could be pregnant.

sperm can live inside of a woman's vagina for 5 days or so. when your period ends and your body releases an egg, if that sperm is still there you will get pregnant. although this is rare
