Sorry.. I am not a psychic.. and your question is pretty vague. However...

If you are talking about push-starting a car with an automatic transmission... you generally can't.

If you are talking about push-starting a car with clutch that is broken... you generally can't.

If you talking about starting a car with a clutch that is broken and you can't get the transmission into nuetral, you can try it with the key.. but get ready to go for a bucking bronco ride since the car will lurch forward under the power of the starter until it starts.. then get ready to go for a rocket ride since you won't be able to stop the car without being able to dis-engage the clutch. In other words.. uh.. you generally can't.

As well, depending on the year model of the Celica you have.. if the clutch is not working properly (locked up, faulty linkage, etc.), there is a safety switch that will not allow your starter to work.

(I can't believe I even attempted this one.)

Can a car still drive without the clutch?

With a little practice you can start a vehicle in 1st gear and shift gears without the use of a clutch. This would be only to get you safely home or to a garage.

You have changed the clutch on your 95 escort and you still have to pop the clutch to start it?

The problem may be with your starter and not with the clutch.

Can you push in the clutch and brake without shifting it in neutral?

No. You will stall(or cut-out). This means that the car shuts down and then you have to clutch in and put it into neutral. Then(still on the clutch) turn on the car again.

What is wrong when the clutch won't go into gear?

A clutch does not go into gear. A clutch engages, Normally if a clutch fails to engage it is because it is worn. with a worn out clutch you are able to start the car in gear without your foot on the clutch and the car wont move. Normally before this happens you will notice what is known as a slipping clutch. A slipping clutch means that the engine is turning faster than it should to keep the car moving while in gear. once this starts to happen it does not take long for the whole show to come to a stand still.

Can you replace the AC clutch on a 2004 Honda accord without replacing the compressor?

My car is going through the same issue with the A/C. You CAN replace the compressor clutch without replacing the compressor, but the caveat is that you can't tell if the compressor is any good without a clutch. So basically you are gambling that the compressor will still be good by only replacing the clutch. Hope this helps!

What year did Toyota first produce the Celica?

The Toyota Celica first came into production in 1971 but did not begin to rise in global popularity until 1978. The Celica is still in production today also.

Either your starter solenoid, if not check the neutral safety or clutch safety switch.

How do you ride a quad?

It depends on what quad you are riding. If you are riding a honda(2005 and under) you must first hold the clutch and then kick start it. After that first gear is down and the rest are up. Remember you must hold the clutch when switching gears. Same goes for other quads except the part where you kick start it but you must still hold the clutch kick start

Bought a Toyota celica and theres still resistance in the pedal and it still starts but in any gear incldeing reverse it just revs and wont move..is it clutch throwout bearing or shot tranny?

It could be the throw out bearing, but usually if you replace that, you replace the clutch. If the tranny shifts while the clutch is down, and the engine still runs, check the belts. The timing belt may be blown, mine did the same thing. When we replaced the belt, we learned that you only get one from Toyota, the aftermarket ones are just a little bit off and won't quite work. Chances, are, that if it shifts into any gear it is not the tranny. You may also have a blown clutch master/slave cylinder.

What is a clutch wrench?

A clutch wrench is a mechanical tool used to hold a clutch in place during installation. This holds the clutch still and does not allow it to move.

Can 2000 Celica gts motor fit in a 2000 Celica gt?

If you are comparing a 2zzge and a 1zzge it will be a direct fit. Exhaust components should still bolt up though.
