yes. If you're only swapping the engine they're usually all the same. Ask someone at an AutoZone or specialized auto parts store for more information on swapping engines. You'll need a manual. And there are a lot of sensors involved, so don't forget to put everything back on when you're done swapping! Specialized cars have engines that aren't interchangeable, but usually its not the engine that has a distinction between auto and manual, its what is connected to the engine such as the transmission and the intermediaries between the two.
of course you can!
whats required for swapping automatic to manual transmission in a Mitsubishi eclipse 1997
You Can perform an engine swap to a h22a manual or a b16 manual. You will get more power with the h22a but the motor cost money.
i have no diea what you mean i need to know the series of the engine that's in the car and i can help you from there
Yes You Can?
If youre changing over a Taurus and its not an SHO then you will have to swap out the entire engine. SHOs were the only ones offered with stick and the manual transmission will not bolt up to a regular Taurus's engine.
As long as it is the same engine, you also have to swap some other parts out such as the clutch petal.
call me maybe 01123
The short answer is yes. It is an involved process and leads to cutting of the floor to allow for the shifter, but a transmission is a transmission and as long as it will mount to the engine it can be installed. Kinda costly though.
You sell the automatic and by one with a manual transmission. It's too expensive and too time consuming to swap them.
automatic or manual doesnt matter because that's talking about the tranny. ONLY swap a camshaft if its the EXACTsame engine.
Yes you can if you have all the parts to make it work from another truck.
