You sure enough can. In fact, this morning I took 30mg vyvanse(roughly 12.5 mg Adderall) and 9 and a half hours later I took 37.5 mg hydrocodone. Im feeling good on the hydros right now. Even though adderall is CNS stimulate and hydrocodone is a CNS depressant, they each work in a different way and on different receptors so there is no harm with taking them together or hours apart.

∙ 14y agoOf course, Hydrocodone as synthetic mix of the opioid codeine and thebaine, it's certainly a painkiller and depressant.
As Adderall is amphetamine - 8-9 hours later the effect will be pretty much gone, if you haven't consumed more.
Taking Hydrocodone, diazepam, morphine, codeine, cannabis, any of those will just cap the effect of the amphetamine rush.
HOWEVER: Do NOT mix these two drugs (upper: amphetamine. Downer: hydrocodone) this may result a change in your heart beat (rare causes, but it has happened). John Belusi died of this, in a sort of similar way; he did a "speedball", it's a cut mix of heroin and cocaine, usually snorted.
Cocaine speeds your heart up, the heroin slows it doing, changing heart beats, as well as obtaining extremely high blood pressure.
Be careful, do not mix it together simontanously, however, 8-9 hours later should be no problem for your body to handle.
