The bodies of the two trucks would have to be an exact match. Otherwise the new dash will have to be modified to fit.
It is possible, but there is a large difference in the dash/wiring/etc. Besides the dash, the wirhing harness for the dash as well as the harness for the motor and the radio harness will need to be changed.
The evaporator in the '03 Silverado is under the dash on the passenger side. Unfortunately to replace it, you have to remove the front dash. This is probably one where you will need to take it into the shop.
You didn't say what year so here goes. On older models you need to remove the plastc grill piece to access it. On newer models there is a L shaped pin on the top of the headlight that when pulled up releases the headlight assembly.
pop it off, there ain't no bolts. it feels like it's gonna break but it won't.
Older vehicles took R-12 freon and the newer vehicles take R134a freon.......
It all depends on the car. An older car may take more to get serviced than a newer car.
all you have to do is take the dash off (if you pull it it comes off) the unhook the light wires and the cargo lamp wires the the radio will just unclip and you can pull it out
You go to GMpartsdirect.com and search under 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 for Flasher and it pulls up a part for $48. You buy it. Once it comes you take off the module plugged into the back of your fuse block (in the driver's side dash) and and put the new one in. This repair is detailed in Silverado TSB #01946 and is a common problem.
take the fender off the hood off and the hood off and dash and it should be right behind the glove dept
The heater core is normally on the passengers side under the dash you should be able to get to it by taking down the plastic cover under the dash of the passengers side of the truck sometimes you have to take other parts of the dash out as well but be careful once you get things apart not to break anything.
On the older ones they take R-22 freon and on the newer ones with 410 Puron freon..........
you have to take the dash off there is 4 screws at the bottom edge of it on the passenger side of the dash and there should be one on the drivers side on the corner facing the door, you also have to take the cluster souround out there will be 8 screws for that. Once that is done remove the dash and the speaker is in the middle of the metal under where the dash sits
