Possibly, although it depends on how much bleeding and what your iron stores were prior to starting this and how much iron is in your diet. It is not uncommon to se this with starting Depo Provera, it usually goes away with time and then most women who stay on Depo will sto having periods. It is not normal to bleed for this long, if it is not from something like Depo Provera, see your doctor.
You may want to ask your doctor this question but nowhere have I read or been told that depression/anxiety meds and diet pills decrease the effectiveness of the depo shot. If you told your doctor you were taking those meds, I am sure he/she wouldn't have suggested the depo shot if it was known effectiveness would decrease. That is why it is good to get contraceptives from a doctor because they know your medical history and know exactly what is best for you.
I have been on Depo-Provera for many years and every time I go low-carb, I have breakthrough bleeding!! I tell my doctor and nurses and I don't think they believe it's more than a coincidence. Unfortunataly, low-carb is the only diet that works for me! The good think my Dr. can prescribe a daily cenestin or premarin tablet - after a week or two that stops it

Particular birth control pills contain a hormone that can increase your chances of getting stretch marks. The Depo Provera shot and Dianette can set up women's skin to be prone to stretch marks as well as weight gain.If you are taking either of these you may want to consider switching to a different kind with reduced side-effects. However, don't skip your birth control, just control your diet, drink water and use moisturizers.
