I have been on Depo for 15 years and have not had a period Last week started a low fat and low carb diet and now suddenly have got my period this week Do you think that it is due to the dieting?

I have been on Depo-Provera for many years and every time I go low-carb, I have breakthrough bleeding!! I tell my doctor and nurses and I don't think they believe it's more than a coincidence. Unfortunataly, low-carb is the only diet that works for me! The good think my Dr. can prescribe a daily cenestin or premarin tablet - after a week or two that stops it
