Yes, this is OK together. Remember to take all of your metronidazole even after you start feeling better. You want to kill all the bacteria and not leave any hiding in your body! ∙ 15y agoYes you can.Metronidazole (Flagyl) andtetracycline (Sumycin) ...are used to treat am myriad of maladies. If you are using this combination for treating ache though there is a less expensive and better way to treat that condition. MSM taken at 10,000mg per day is very effective in treating ache problems. I took the above combination after a miscarriage. I got an infection and was prescibed the above combination. The drug Flagyl made me more ill than I was from the infection. Suicidal even. And depression and suicide are among the most common side effects of the drug Flagyl. I would take the drug only after a great deal of research into the possible side effects. Had I known about the tons of side effects that Flagyl had I would have recognised the problem and the doctor would have adjusted my dosage or taken me off the drug altogether. Lucky for me someone stopped me from jumping off of a bridge and talked me down....:O) And I am not at all inclined to be that way. The behavior was totally out of line for me. Take care.
