use 10w 30 Added Actually, from the manual
The 2000 altima uses a KA24DE motor which requires 3.5 quarts of a 10W-30 grade of motor oil
10w 30
You can use any SAE certified engine oil in your Nissan. The engine oil should be a 10W-30 weight engine oil.
The Owner's Manual specifies 10W-30. I use Quaker State Full Synthetic but traditionally, one uses non-synthetic engine oil for a 4-cylinder engine. As long as you use 10W-30, you really can't go wrong. Try not to mix synthetic and non-synthetic oils. Check what was used in the last oil change and use as close to that as you can.
Magnetec 10w-40 should be the best oil
for Quarts of Oil for 1996 AltimaI just did this and used 4 quarts of 10W 40...Hope this helps.
tempatures are not expected to drop below zero degrees ferinheight before yournext oil change. SAE 5w-30 is recommended
The 2003 Nissan Sentra SE-R uses a high revving engine. The manufacture recommendation is 10w-40 which will protect the engine and lubricate the internals.
There are a few different engine sizes in the Nisson Almera petrol range but they all take a Semi-synthetic 10w/40 Engine oil.
