Yes, I had to do the same on my 1.9L DOHC 1992 Saturn, I had a small leak in my radiator and can tell you this works well for a while but is not the ultimate fix, my leak keept getting bigger and bigger until y finally had to spend some money and put a new radiator
at the bottom of the coolant reservoir tank.
It's only radiator cap is on the coolant reservoir.
Yes; it's on the coolant reservoir. The entire coolant reservoir on the Saturns is pressurized.
The radiator does not have a cap, instead, the coolant system reservoir is also pressurized and the pressure cap is on the reservoir.
The radiator cap is on the coolant reservoir, which is mounted on the passenger side fender for S series Saturns.
There is no cap on the radiator; instead, the coolant reservoir is pressurized along with the rest of the cooling system. Look on the passenger side, under the hood. You should see the windshield washer reservoir AND the coolant reservoir. Be careful with the lid of the coolant reservoir. If the engine is hot, it will blow off in your face.
Saturn's did not have a place on the radiator to fill the coolant; you'll need to look for the coolant reservoir, which was typically somewhere in front of the passenger. Note the fill level marks on the side of the reservoir; do not exceed the appropriate mark. (one for when the engine is hot, the other for when the engine is cool.) and do not open the reservoir when the engine is hot.
The radiator does not have a cap as most cars do. You add coolant to the reservoir bottle. The reservoir bottle may be under pressure when the engine is warm. Use caution when opening.
no, it's on the reservoir. Yes, the radiator "system" has a pressure-release cap located on the plastic coolant fill bottle. This bottle is an active part of the cooling system, and is where you add coolant to the system
The amount of coolant it will take to fill your vehicle is dependent upon how low the coolant level is. You can add coolant to your coolant reservoir. The reservoir will have an indicator of when the coolant system is full.
he radiator
The radiator on a 1995 Saturn is flushed by draining the coolant, refilling the engine with water, and adding a flush. It is allowed to circulate and drain before refilling with coolant.
