No, and yes.
I say no because to do that you would have to change parts within the amplifier itself, which could be done but would be more trouble than it is worth.
I say yes because you can buy an adapter that you plug into the wall outlet that will change the voltage of 220v to 110v. You are technically not changing the voltage the amplifier can handle but changing the voltage coming to the amp.
If you are using an amp that is designed to be used in US 110v and are in Europe using 220V you can find the adapters just about anywhere, I've never looked but I would think Wal Mart would sell them. If you are trying to plug into a US 240V outlet it would be better off just installing a new 110v then to modify you amp.
So I guess it depends on your situation. Hope this helps.
Some types of sound systems can be adjusted to run on 110 v or 220 v so look at the back plate to see if this is possible. If not, then a transformer is required to convert the supply voltage to the voltage (and power) required by the appliance.
Not directly - you need a transformer to adapt the voltage correctly.
You would have to run new wires to obtain 240 volts or use a step-up transformer.
If you need 50 amps you can use a 60 amp generator or any other generator rated to supply more amps. The voltage, 110 v or 240 v, must be the right voltage for the load used.
No, the appliance is wired for a heavier circuit (240v). You wouldn't even be able to plug it in because the 240 plug and the 110 receptacle don't match. They're designed that way so they're fool proof.
Wire is wire - is doesn't matter what voltage you use. However, if you are changing the voltage on a device from 240 to 120, given the same power requirement, you may need bigger wires for the doubled current (and increased heat of resistivity).
In the UK builders' hand-tools for use on outdoor sites run on 110 v and you can get a portable 3 kVA transformer to convert 240 to 110 for about £30 if you look around. The 110 v secondary has a centre-tapped earth so that both lives wires are 55 v to earth.
Yes provided that you use a transformer that will transform 110 to 220/240. Without the transformer you will blow your equipment. You can take a USA appliance and go to Europe and other places that use 220/240 and use it but only if you have a transformer that is in range with the power consumption of the 110 equipment. Most small/portable electrical equipment like computers, tablets or phones bought in the USA are now coming with dual voltage 110/240, so there is no need for transformers. If you equipment does not says 120/240 or 110/220 you WILL need the transformer.
Not unless you have a 110 volt supply to plug it in to. The standard General Power Outlet in Australia is 240 volts AC at 50 Hertz.

volts? no, but you can convert 240volts to 110 volts, thus powering your drill properly. What that means is that, by using a power "Inverter'' you may Invert 240 to 110, thus not having to brake your head thinking about changing the motor of your drill. ( power converted)= fron 110 to 240 ( power inverter)= 240 to 110 I think I am right.

The watches themselves use batteries and do not depend on the house voltage supply. It is important to have the correct charger suitable for the house voltage of 110 or 240 volts.

Probably not. Most plug-in power transformers are not adjustable for use on different voltages. If you are trying to use an appliance in a different country, try using a 240-120v travel converter, or obtain a transformer designed to use the other power source.
If you mean 110/240, yes, but there may be a hidden switch to switch it to 240 volt mode. Check the manual.
In the United States, 110-120/240 VAC is the standard.

You can use 120v 10a 125w cable projectors 110-240v power in India.
