No because the air temperature would either make the unit over do or in some cases it would make the unit not put out enough.
This is a straight cool 13 SEER condensing unit that uses R410a refrigerant. This is not a heat pump.
need to change condensing units. from cooling only to heat pump
The heat pump will have an additional component in the outdoor unit, a reversing valve. Additional wiring is also required for a heat pump to operate. (more than the 2 wires used to operate an a/c condensing unit) These are not the only differences, but the easiest to visually spot. lc
why is it important to have drainage for the outdoor unit

On the outdoor coil
If you only have 5 wires to the thermostat you can eliminate the C (brown) but the brown still has to go to the outdoor unit. The colors in (parentheses) can be different in your bundle but its best to keep some sense of normalcy. Yellow and Blue will not attach to the air handler, they will be wire nutted directly to the yellow and blue leading to the outdoor unit. If the AC worked, then the O/B should be already set.
I have a4 ton air handler and a three and a half ton condenser 13 seer goodman heat pump will my seer change
Rule of thumb is no more than 50 feet.
Condenser coil
if by how much you mean the heating or cooling capacity it is 60,000 BTU/hour
