You have to remove the fuel tank.
Dodge does not use inertia/reset switches.
The engine computer is also the voltage regulator.

I'm having the same problem with my 1988 dodge b350 5.9L. I've also replaced all that stuff. Next on the list to replace is the distributor itself. One thing I know for certain, make sure that gap in the pick-up coil is right or you'll be trying to start the van in vain.

Pull the transmission dip stick out and read it. It will tell you what fluid to use and how to check it. With the older Chrysler automatics, they want the engine running and the transmission in neutral to get an accurate reading. ATF+4
