first install the operating systems seperately on both the hard disks.
then by changing the BIOS settings u can easily select the hard disk from which u want to boot from , i.e U can select the hard disk from which u want to load the operating system by changing the boot order !
Dynamic disk
You should already have the restore disk. When most computer manufactures send you a computer, they send the operating system disks and driver disks with the new computer. If you didn't get those disks, contact Toshiba. If you don't get the disks, just download a Windows XP iso and an activation crack from isohunt.com.
running multiple operating systems at the same time simple disk configuration snapshots and undo disks
Weird question but alright! Put round disks in computer disk drives. I know there's square disks but, they go in some other drive.
A floppy drive does not in itself affect computer speed. Some poorly designed operating systems may temporarily stop responding when a floppy disk is being written to, but these systems are rare nowadays.
Yes!On a hard disk of a computer multiple operating system can be installed and run.... Example is Ubantu and Windows Xp on a single computerAfter the installation of multiple operating systems your computer will ask you to select a operating system of your choice....
becoz there's nothing in them.
DOS is an operating system type, not a computer. There have been many DOSs that ran on many different computers; from mainframes to minicomputers to microcomputers over the decades.DOS = Disk Operating System and encompasses any operating system for any computer using disks for its main filesystem.
If you have an older computer and a knew disk
Disk operating system DOS is a computer operating system using line instruction. For a computer system use disk drive as secondary memory. A Windows system is a computer operating system with Graphic User Interface GUI instead of line instruction. There is no difference between them other than what the vendor or creator wants it to be. A disk operating system is a system based on being run from a disk drive. Typically disk operating systems were single user and single task systems. Predecessors to DOS used cards, magnetic or paper tape as as input, output or main storage device. Successors that relinquished the DOS title had multiprocessing, multiuser, realtime or windowing capabilities and were given other names such as OS/360, RT-11, Windows, multics, unix, linux and more. All modern systems are disk based, unless they use solid state drives (SSD), so all are disk operating systems. Microsoft windows as well as unix, linux, OpenVMS all have a windows interface so they can all be windows operating systems but only microsoft makes that claim.
Depends on what Operating System your talking about. Microsoft has all there boot disks (you will only find Win XP standalone through SP2 for Pro and Home edition as support for Win 9x up to Win XP has been discontinued and they will not make available boot disks for systems beyond XP SP2). Just search microsfts website for 'Boot Disk' and you will find it. For most if not all Operating Systems, the developer will almost always have support options on their website.
Assuming that we are only talking about the personal computer (PC) market, before Microsoft's Windows operating systems, Microsoft's Disk operating system, or DOS, was used. Before that, CP/M was a popular computer operating system.
