well yes and no.you use the key to turn the ignition to the acessory posistion( the furthest you can turn the ignition without starting the car)..you use a paper clip or the lil test probe or a code scanner, connected to the test dimm right below your steering column or somewhere in that vacinity . you connect the test connector ( you can buy it at autozone or advance for like a buck )or a paper clip to the a and b terminal on the test dimm..or you plug in the scanner ,,then you turn the ignition to the run posistion ,,and your check engine will start flashing codes with flashes and pauses soon ..it will give you the codes in sets of 3 then go to the next code..first code will be a 12 one (one flash ,,then a short pause ..then 2 more flashes ) this is a welcome code ..then after it does that 3 times ..it will start giving you the trouble codes if there is any..when it goes back to giving you the code 12 again . that means it has given you all the trouble codes .and is restarting ..then you can turn off the ignition ,,and unplug the paper clip or test pin connector or whatever you are using)..remember it will flash the check engine or service engine soon light on your dash ..then you just write down the codes as it gives them to you ..then you can go online and search trouble codes ..go to a page and look up your codes and it will tell you ,well give you an idea what is wrong...examples .starts off with a 12 ..one flash then a pause then 2 flashes..repeats it 3 times .then gives you lets say for example code .44 four flashes ..pause ..then four more flashes ..repeats itself 3 times ..then goes to a 56 five flashes then a pause then six flashes..then goes back to a code 12 (welcome or handshake code)..test is done at this point it ,,will keep repeating the procedure 3 times so if you missed a code or dont think you wrote it down right you have 2 more times because it goes through the codes \3 total times ..hope this helps you a lil bit
It is possible to program one key fob to use on two different cars. If the key fob uses a primitive fixed code system, programming two cars will not work.
You will need to give the Doctor as much information as you can so that he can correctly diagnose your problem.
You will not get one remote to work for both of those cars. If you had two cars that use the same style of keyless entry remotes(also called Key FOBs) you could program the two cars to use the same remote.
One word... Convenience.
I push it into the garage, diagnose the problem, use my knowledge and tools to fix it and then drive it out of the garage. I'm not sure if that's what you meant.....
Just like with most diagnostic the main purpose is to scan for any problems anywhere within the system and then test any correction that was done. This Fresh Diagnose is used for personal and private use.
You will need to connect the cars dataport to a diagnostic computer. You can usually use a normal laptop with some software from the net and a datacable connected to the cars ECU serial port. Then asses the sensor logs from the ECU, this will give you any error codes that are showing. Once you have an error code or a particular failure series from the diagnostic machine you should be able to diagnose your problem.
You really need to take the hamster to a veterinarian, only they can really diagnose or treat the problem. Not using its legs could indicate a spinal problem.
We could use the newly developed hybrid cars but the problem is not everyone can afford one.
Most cars this is not a problem, the engines are identical.
Most modern cars require you to have the "Special" key with the remots functions on it to run the car. If it a seperate key fob remote you should not need it.
How do teachers diagnose a learning disability? He can't diagnose the disease if he doesn't know its symptoms. A blood test is used to diagnose thyroid problems.
