Symptoms can be very vague until it is too late. The most common symptom is the owner noticing enlarged lymph nodes in their dogs neck, arm pits, and behind their knees. Dogs can also show no intrest in food and activities and also show lethargy. If you are concerned that your dog may have cancer see a veterinarian immediately.

You can't pass cancer onto anyone (including your dog), but your condition and treatment could have an effect on your pets. If you do not have the strength to care for yourself, you will probably neglect your dog. If you need to spend significant time away from home for treatment, your dog may miss being with you.

Our dog passed away from a cancer known as lymphoma. The main symptom was swelling of the glands at the neck and also in the abdomen (tummy) near the inside hip. This is a very fast moving cancer.
