bleed your coolent. you probably have air trapped in there and its causing the problem.
replace the radiator, they are integrated.
Well it just cost me $375 to have a starter replaced in a 1990 4Runner. But I think I got totally screwed.
Usually in a removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose it is located in the housing but on the lower radiator hose ,not the top hose as in other vehicles
The radiator?? Theres alot of hoses on a 4runner which engine do you have?
Diagrams are under the hood usually the bottom side of the hood or on the radiator rail.
Maybe cable is going bad and will have to be replaced
The thermostat on a 1991 Toyota 4Runner is located on the engine block. It can be found by following the large hose coming from the radiator.
The dash lights on a 93 Toyota 4Runner are replaced by removing the dash trim and panels. When the dash internals are exposed, the individual bulbs can then be replaced.
2002 Toyota 4Runner Sport I use Mobil 1 15w50 synthetic with 5k change intervals; all other fluids are replaced using Red Line Racing synthetic products.
It should last the life of the engine and is normally replaced during an engine overhaul.
It has one timing belt which must be replaced every every 90,000 miles. This is an interference engine.
Fill it till all the cooling veins are covered with antifreeze and distilled water depending on you environment.
